#4, Cross-Country Roadtrip + Self-Investment Update š
Officially moved out of Miami and on Day 6 of my cross-country roadtrip!
Refresher of why Iām doing this:
This year, Iām on a mission of loving myself extraordinarily well.
This requires me to upgrade my systems for my physical health, mental health, career health, and environmental health.
Every week I share an update on how the systems are working.
I started my cross-country roadtrip this week! Very proud of the systems I proactively built out to keep me on track while Iām on the road (an initially planned one-week trip is already extending to three weeks) š
Shireenās System for a Healthy Body
Upgraded my system to ensure my body gets the love she needs during our cross-country roadtrip of 3 weeks:
Roadtrip Goals:
Cellular repair and metabolism health:
Fast 16+ hours Day 1-14 of menstrual cycle; 13+ hours Day 15-35
Strength and flexibility:
10K steps + hit micro-exercise goals every day during roadtrip
Cognition and healing:
8hrs/night sleep during roadtrip
Nutrition:
Hit at least 30% protein on macros every day
AM and PM supplements every day
Target weight: 152lb by end of roadtrip / 145lb by EOY
Week 4, July 22 - 28:
ā Exceeding fasting goals
ā 1 HIIT workout and 5/5 daily micro-exercise regiment while on roadtrip, really glad I set this system up before getting on the road
ā 5 nights of 8hr+ sleep, staying disciplined about this while on roadtrip to give body stability
āļøNot hitting my daily protein goals consistently yet but have tracked meals for 6/6 days of roadtrip, which is making a HUGE difference in food choices and feeling confident I will get to consistency on protein soon
Shireenās System for a Healthy Mind
Goal: Upgrade my mental software
Observe my thoughts / thinking patterns. Evaluate if I want to keep or change. Track them in yay/nay list.
Actions > Thoughts. When there is a thought to do something and it is determined to be a healthy thing to do, take action immediately.
Week 4, July 22 - 28:
ā YAY Patterns:
Observerās Mindset: instead of acting immediately on your instinct, just observe what's happening. Observe your feelings. Observe the thoughts racing through your head. Instincts and thinking patterns are trained/learned over time. They might require re-training as your requirements change.
Relationship between future Shireen / past Shireen to empower 1% better every day <3 In the moment, do something that would set future Shireen up for success. In the moment, thank past Shireen for setting you up for success.

Week 4, July 22 - 28:
What did I do to create value and be of service today?
What new roads did I create for that value to be received / exchanged?
āļøReally not a fan of my system just yet, but for now holding myself accountable for actively reflecting on real value Iām delivering every week.

Retro - what parts of me were amplified last week, what did my environment look like?
What parts of me do I want amplified?

Week 4, July 22 - 28:
Last weekās Retro:
last weekās focus on āaction > thoughtā has been epic, got stuff done so much faster than expected and felt the micro-momentum in every moment.
ex. Genesis chore has been haunting me for 2 months due to misinformation, and i was able to miraculously get it done within 45 minutes when focused on action > thought mindset
ex. system built prior to roadtrip is making roadtrip-Shireen very happy
action, action, action towards delivering professional value ā less words, less planning, more tinkering
time blocking hours on roadtrip to get deep work in for Skillify where I tinker
